We will be posting new articles from Floyd periodically, and you can always find his previous issues here.

For those of you not acquainted with Floyd, he operates
Ephemera , a guide service in Roscoe, New York and is a highly regarded fly fishing instructor at the famous Wulff School of Fly Fishing. He also chairs the Federations of Fly Fisher's prestigious Casting Board of Governors. This board oversees the operations of the Federation's Casting Instructor's Certification Program.

Floyd has fished and hosted fly fishing groups to many of today's fly fishing destinations from Christmas Island to Alaska. If you are a fly tier you probably recognize the name. Floyd has received over forty national and international fly tying awards. His flies and fly patterns have appeared in most of the fly fishing magazines. We have asked him to share his casting and fishing expertise in the form of bi-monthly contributions. Make it a point to stop by and see what he is up to.

I think you will enjoy Floyd's easy going, but very informative, writing style. We invite your comments and welcome your suggestions for future topics in any of three general areas: Hints For Beginners, Casting Challenges or Fishing Techniques.
